PERSONAL PROJECT

After my first year of university I wanted to keep myself busy over the summer holidays, and learn to do something I've always had a passion for - level design! I used online tutorials to teach myself how to use the Radiant level editor, and mod Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 by creating my own zombies map!

This was a great experience to learn a proper level design tool, and create something for a game mode I thoroughly enjoy. It also gave me some experience in the GameScript scripting language as I needed to create some custom scripts for the map.

FEATURES
 

  • Wall-running. Heavy emphasis on wall-running in the outside sections of the map, running between each "room" on the cliffside.

  • Escaping the Bunker. While turning on the power will help you use perks around the map, charging the facilities capacitors is the only way to open the main entrance.

  • Huge Map. 17 rooms for you to explore, lots of doors. The map can be played in very different ways in the beginning rounds depending on what routes you take, inside or out.
